Amy is my inspiration for this because she did it first: Amy’s Blog. A ton happened to me this year and I thought it would be good to sum it all up.
I had three jobs at once. I had my internship at the Regional Arts Commission, where I got yelled at while bar tending at a gallery opening. I got to work with some of the best people I have ever met at Crushed Red and I even became a manager. During that I had my job at the German School Association. Which went into the summer, because we had a one week immersion camp. I was in charge of camp and it was exhausting.
I helped my best friend plan a 20s speak easy themed murder mystery party. I swear the two of us should plan parties in real life.
I went on a super fun float trip. I love Missouri sometimes.
I had a high tea for my birthday with two of the best girls I know.
I attempted to try as many new restaurants in St. Louis as possible and I think I did the best I could.
I went to so many Kid Scientist shows that I lost track of how many I actually went to. Plus I got to spend time with the best people ever at the shows.
I saw the Book of Mormon at the Fox, my mom hated it. Sorry mom!!!
I went to Germany three times to visit my relatives.
I cuddled with my dog a lot!!!
I moved to Scotland. I had to leave my mom, my dog and my best friends behind. I even had to sell my car. I hated all of the goodbyes, but I thought that this was an opportunity that I could not pass up. Luckily I had a friend from home visit me in Scotland to make the transition easier.
I got here started my Masters Program and met a wonderful group of people that I now can’t imagine my life without them.
